Pastor Bishop Moore is a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led man of God, who firmly believes that “One has not truly lived until they have lived by faith.” He is a fourth generation preacher.  Rev. Moore has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Maryville College, located in the foothills of Maryville, Tennessee.  After graduation, Rev. Moore relocated to Argentina where he became an ESOL teacher.  Upon returning to the states, he completed graduate work at Towson University and Goucher College in the area of Education.  Since then, Rev. Moore has worked in education for over 20 yrs. For the past 17 years, Rev. Moore has dedicated his teaching career to Baltimore County Public Schools.


In 2008, he was licensed to preach.  In 2011, Rev.Bishop Moore was ordained an African Methodist Episcopal Itinerant Deacon.  On February 16, 2018, during the mid-conference of the 2nd Episcopal District of the AMEC, Rev. Bishop Moore was appointed Pastor of Jerusalem African Methodist Episcopal Church by Bishop James L. Davis.

In addition, Pastor Moore serves as a musician on the Potomac District and Washington Conference levels and serves on the 2nd District Christian Education Leadership team. With the help of God, Pastor Moore will graduate with his theological degree in the Spring of 2019 from St. Mary’s Seminary of Baltimore.

Pastor Moore is joyously married to Dr. Karyn Felder Moore. They are training up two adorable children.  Foremost, Pastor Moore has a heart for all God’s people. He is passionate about the millennial generation.  He strongly believes that the Arts and Technology are vital tools in ministry that can bridge generational gaps and win souls for Christ. He wants to inspire a Courageous Joshua Generation.
